@MainMonsterMan1 @LookAtMyMeat1 They did... but it was mostly out of respect... they used his performance mostly to guide the body double.

Its more insane that Disney went through the massive effort of finding an actor that looks exactly like a young Mark Hamil only to digitally place Hamil's face over his

It's still insane to me that this actually happened.

Matthew Lillard criticized the industry for prioritizing celebrities over voice actors in animation: “The ability to carry a film, as the lead of a film with only a voice, is a power very few people have. The idea that they keep hiring crappy celebrities to carry huge films is killing us.”

One thing I’ve learned making content is that the videos people go craziest for usually start as a completely unhinged idea I randomly say out loud.
One day I looked at this office setup and thought, “What if I literally snuck under his desk while he’s trying to work?”
No huge production.
No complicated script.
Just pure chaos.
He’s sitting there trying to answer emails and act professional while I’m underneath the desk making it almost impossible for him to focus. Watching him try to keep composure while his brain completely short-circuits was honestly the funniest part of the entire shoot.
And weirdly, that’s why the video worked.
Not because it was polished.
Not because it was overproduced.
Because it felt spontaneous and real.
I think people can instantly tell when a scene feels authentic versus when it feels manufactured. The tension, the awkwardness, the fact that neither of us could fully keep it together… that’s what made it memorable.
Honestly, those are still my favorite kinds of videos to make.
