@Maindrope @SkylarSwall @jk_rowling Sexual feelings, like other feelings, need to be kept under control. For example, you might be tempted to cheat on your spouse, but choose not to because you understand the consequences.

@Maindrope @SkylarSwall @jk_rowling Some feelings need to be repressed, or at least controlled or ignored. We can't just act on impulse or do whatever we feel like. I'd eat chocolate for every meal if I didn't control myself.

@SkylarSwall @jk_rowling Who gets to decide what “virtue” is? Most evidence suggests that people who repress their innate feelings are likely to end up depressed, alcoholic, suicidal or abusive. That doesn’t sound very virtuous.
