@visenyasdaughtr It’s some kind of parasocial brain rot. Some people want costars to have actually become a couple (some making really inappropriate comments) or to pretend they’re a real couple. It’s all so weird. It’s just as weird when costars feed speculation (cough Sweeney/Powell cough).

why do people think that actors playing romantic partners should pretend to be in love with each other while promoting their work? what matters most is their on-screen chemistry. they don’t have to perform when they’re not in character.
