@lizsargeant @SECAmbulance Hi Liz - good to hear from you. Just Sussex and 1 week in with a rota of 3 ED Consultants, 3 Acute Medicine Consultants and 3 Geriatricians. 10 ED conveyances managed via different routes today. Not been this excited since (proper) D2A…early days!

Started in a new role today working with @SECAmbulance to help reduce conveyances to ED, find alternative pathways for care, especially for our frail, elderly patients

Three years ago today I was in the middle of chairing an NHS system wide tactical response call when I was informed that my brother had shockingly taken his own life. Only in retrospect did the warning signs become visible to us (1/3)
