People do not understand how tight of margins restaurants work with. I’m sure there is more to this story, but raising the cost for one restaurant and not their competitors means that competition gets an unfair advantage and the consumer will vote with their wallet.

Dear Tom Steyer, You do realize that as governor of California you have no power or authority to demolish ICE. The fact that you are making campaign promises impossible to fulfill shows me you are not qualified to run for governor. It is sad that your supporters lack significant knowledge of our government framework and that this strategy of lying to California voters might actually be a successful campaign tactic. The fact that the California Federation of Teachers has endorsed you and your deceptive campaign makes me wonder if they even understand how the United States government works and the separation of powers. If our own teachers do not understand how government works and are supporting candidates who do not understand it, how are they qualified to teach our children how government works?

Are the walls caving in on California’s political elite? For too long, such fraud has been allowed to survive. If times are changing, the political elite will hopefully soon enjoy the benefits of government-supported housing and meals—at the cost of their individual liberty and freedom to go where they want, when they want.

Incredible investigation today from @CBSNews. Our reporters visited "ground zero" for hospice fraud: Los Angeles, California. One building had 89 registered hospices . . . Read it here: cbsnews.com/projects/2026/…

Those who have heard me speak know that I like to start my presentations with a historical story. In light of the upcoming 250th birthday of the USA this week, I incorporated a new story into my presentation. The story was such a hit that I decided to publish an X article on this often-forgotten part of our history. x.com/MarkMeuser/sta…

While I am disappointed that the Supreme Court decided to not issue an injunction in the Proposition 50 case, this is not the end of the road. This case will move back to the district court where we resolve the merits of the lawsuit. This case will probably end up back at the Supreme Court very soon where the Court will need to address the merits of the case. At the end of the day, we did everything we could to try to stop Gavin Newsom's unconstitutional racial gerrymander. The 2026 elections will be run on what I believe are unconstitutional maps. However, as the case works its way back through the court system, it is still possible that the Court to stop the Proposition 50 map from controlling the 2028 and 2030 elections.

The fight to stop the State of California from using unconstitutional, racially gerrymandered maps in 2026 is now in the Supreme Court’s hands. As you know, last week we filed our emergency application asking the Supreme Court to issue an injunction and require the State of California to use the Commission maps for the 2026 elections, instead of using the Proposition 50 map. Today we filed the final document before the Supreme Court in this phase of the case. We anticipate that the Supreme Court will issue an order sometime next week. The State is arguing that it does not matter what the mapmaker actually did when he drew the lines. Instead, since the voters of California were voting on a political gerrymander to stick it to Trump, it means that the political intent of the voters somehow washes away any sins of the mapmaker. If the State’s theory is accepted, it would create a blueprint for every legislature in the country: draw racial districts behind closed doors, submit them to the voters, and then claim the Constitution no longer applies. That would convert the Fourteenth Amendment from a constitutional command into a procedural hurdle that can be bypassed by a ballot measure. This case is not just about California, it is about whether constitutional limits still restrain the political branches when elections are at stake. Today’s filing counters this argument. We argue that Supreme Court precedents hinges upon the actions of the mapmaker, not the intentions of those who finally approve the map. We argue that over sixty years ago, the Supreme Court was faced with a similar situation and the Court ruled that it does not matter if the voters approve an unconstitutional redistricting plan, if the plan is unconstitutional, the Court must strike it down. Finally we reiterated to the Court that the direct evidence which includes statements by the legislature and the mapmaker proves that race was a major factor in how the Proposition 50 lines were drawn. In addition, we did not just rely upon direct evidence, but our experts provided circumstantial evidence to show that some of the lines drawn could not have been drawn if politics was the only factor, that race was used, and that racial line-drawing renders Proposition 50 unconstitutional. Now that the case is fully briefed, we wait and see what happens next.

🚨Breaking News🚨 Supreme Court just ordered California to respond to our Emergency Application for an Injunction. California must respond by Jan. 29. The question will be, should the Court allow California to run the 2026 elections using the racially gerrymandered maps.

This federal funding of daycares with zero children present sounds a lot like those who abused COVID relief by taking forgivable loans for fictitious businesses. I hope the DOJ goes after these individuals committing fraud against the federal government. This is just another example of a bloated federal government.
Amy Reichert@amyforsandiego

The two top cities in California where state inspectors found ZERO children present during daycare inspections: 1. San Diego (City Heights) 2. El Cajon Los Angeles has 3.87 million residents. San Diego has 1.4 million. El Cajon has 103,000.
