It’s an exciting day for MA’s energy future! This clean, affordable, consistent baseload power will provide nearly 20% of our total electricity and $3.8 billion in economic benefits, help with monthly electric bills, make our grid more reliable, and improve public health.

Today, power is officially flowing through the @NECEC_ME transmission line – delivering affordable, stable hydropower from Canada to Massachusetts! This project will supply 20% of the state’s electricity and save customers $50 million each year on their bills.
