I’m producing my new play Coco Queens myself.
This story is about Black women, sisterhood, and the beauty shop as sanctuary, and it deserves to be seen, heard, and felt. And I’m building it from the ground up with community at the center.

yes but please don’t use google docs lol FD is expensive but there are free screenwriting softwares! I say this in earnest. As Black writers, they are already looking for a reason to say no. Make sure your stuff looks professional before you put it out into the world.
