Arteta has really done a lot for the club If tactics built the structure, mentality built the soul. For years, Arsenal carried a label. Talented but soft, Entertaining but unreliable, Capable but inconsistent Arteta attacked that narrative head-on. What changed? Standards….Training intensity, discipline, accountability all raised. No one is bigger than the system. Emotional Connection….Arteta reconnected Players with the badge, Fans with the team, The club with its identity You can see it. Celebrations mean more, Defeats hurt more, Effort is non-negotiable Belief in Big Moments Arsenal now go into big games expecting to compete not hoping to survive. Unity: The dressing room is aligned. No cliques. No distractions. Just clarity of purpose. He didn’t just improve players he transformed their mindset. This is often the hardest part of any rebuild and arguably Arteta’s most underrated achievement. Arteta’s Arsenal has: Challenged for the Premier League, Played some of the best football in Europe, Developed one of the most exciting young squads in the game But the key question remains: Can they consistently cross the line? This is the final evolution: From competing → to conquering, From admired → to feared, From potential → to legacy There are no more hiding places now. The rebuild phase is over. The next step isn’t progress. it’s silverware. And that’s what will ultimately define Arteta’s era.

It’s Mikel Arteta’s 44th birthday. He already has an impressive record in his young managerial career with Arsenal 🔴

When Arteta arrived in 2019, Arsenal were not just underperforming they were directionless. A disjointed squad, No clear tactical identity, Fragile mentality in big moments, A culture that had grown comfortable with mediocrity This wasn’t a quick fix. It required patience and time. Arteta made decisions that many managers avoid: Freezing out established stars, Letting go of high-profile names regardless of status, Prioritizing attitude, discipline, and tactical intelligence over reputation That period was messy. Results suffered. Critics were loud. But beneath the surface, something was forming. He built around youth not just because they were talented, but because they were malleable, hungry, and aligned with his vision. Bukayo Saka became the face of the project, Gabriel Martinelli brought chaos and intensity. William Saliba anchored the defense with composure beyond his years, Ødegaard was the captain and came with control. Arteta didn’t inherit a great team. He stripped one down and rebuilt it with intent. Arsenal are now no longer outsiders looking in they are firmly back among England’s elite, competing with the best and expecting to win. Arteta’s education under Pep Guardiola is evident but what separates him and how he has adapted those principles into his own system. At the core of his philosophy is control: Control of space, Control of possession, Control of the opponent. Key Tactical Traits: Positional Play (Juego de Posición) Every player occupies zones with purpose. The aim is simple Always create passing triangle, Always have superiority in key areas, Always offer a solution on the ball Inverted Fullbacks- Instead of hugging the touchline, fullbacks step into midfield: Creating overloads centrally, Helping dictate tempo, Allowing wingers to stay wide and stretch play This small tweak transformed Arsenal’s ability to dominate games territorially. The 2-3-5 Structure in Attack In possession, Arsenal often morph into: 2 defenders holding shape, 3 midfielders controlling progression, 5 attackers pinning the opposition back This creates Width, Depth and Constant pressure High Pressing with Intelligence. This isn’t chaotic pressing it’s coordinated suffocation. Triggers are clearly defined, Passing lanes are cut, not chased, Opponents are forced into mistakes Arsenal don’t just play football they execute a system with precision. And this is where Arteta has grown. He is no longer just applying Guardiola’s ideas he is interpreting and evolving them. And yet, for all the progress, the conversation doesn’t end in praise it continues into pressure. Because at the highest level, football is brutally simple: Win Trophies. Long Live Mikel Arteta

@Matseun @PoojaMedia You’re not wrong by the way. Data indeed is not the only factor there are other things technologically that can help. Data is just a tool to help you confirm what you do. But a big part of business failure is largely on failure on visibility to the business owner.

I heard a story about how a poultry owner caught his staff stealing his eggs. It was an egg heist, as 80% of the staff were involved. They had about 10 25L kegs, and they broke eggs into them. How he caught them: So one day, he made a surprise visit to the farm after arriving from an abroad trip, and on getting to the gate, he saw the kegs, and he was like, there is no fuel scarcity, as they have quarters for staff inside the farm. No one was there because even the security men ran away when they saw his vehicle. He stepped out, opened the kegs, and BOOM, eggs filled them. Apparently, they were selling to different bakeries. Damn, he almost went mad. 😭 Imagine the eggs they broke to fill up a keg.

@JA_Olaoye @PoojaMedia The most shocking and saddest part is that the data person you employed would most likely join the gang with the excuse: “Where we dey work na there we dey chop.” Looting mentality has now become a way of life in Naija society. But data is important. 👍

@JA_Olaoye @PoojaMedia That is correct only when the data recorded is only in its right value. And come to think of when the director is far from the business, he can only validate what is written to him.

When we say data is important for small businesses too. This is exactly what I mean. Not that data will stop them from stealing, but your suspicion will be validated early and action will be taken much faster. Many business owner want to keep record in their brain. No. Write things down. Project. When your projection is not working, you can track it easily. You can’t measure what you’re not actively tracking. Write everything down, use simple google sheet, hire someone to measure your core business metrics.
