Sale battered 85-19, Gloucester 53-12, Harlequins 48-15 and Newcastle 62-3. Four teams with nothing to play for and didn’t it show

Noah Caluori has scored as many tries (10) in two PREM games against Sale as anyone else in the league has managed across the entire season - and there are 20 minutes still to play.

It’s absolutely ridiculous, unfair and insulting that Leinster get to play in the Aviva, Bordeaux get to play in Bordeaux, but if Bath get a “home” advantage in the semi-finals, it’s in Milton Keynes — 100 miles away from Bath.

@CharlieFelix They’re definitely very confused at the moment, and I don’t think Venter is the answer either. They stink of needing fresh ideas yet the whole organisation is so inward looking it won’t happen. It could be a very barren few years despite excellent talents coming through

@CharlieFelix Thing I really don’t understand about Saracens currently is how far backwards they’ve gone since 2023 title win, when they played genuinely exciting attacking rugby - almost from the final v Sale onwards on they’ve reverted back to kick tennis which hasn’t worked at all

It’s the end of March and Saracens need a big upset on the road to progress in the Champions Cup and almost require snookers to stay alive in the league. Other Prem teams simply look more coherent and energetic. thetimes.com/sport/rugby-un…

@saracen1971 I thought we were good in the first half. That intercept at 21-15 changes the game enormously. Sadly the second half capitulation is a trait we cannot shake off and the tries we’ve conceded second half have been unacceptable

I’m sure we concede far more tries than any other PREM side off of intercepts, so frustrating after what’s been a good half for us #BATvSAR

@ApostolosAndre9 @Orient_Ed @E10__mess @OrientOutlook Bringing on Theo for O’Neill made the difference really, Morris was so isolated first half against a tricky winger anyone would struggle with. Bringing on Theo just allowed more support for him and it completely shut the flank down

@Orient_Ed @E10__mess @OrientOutlook The kid had pace. So you don't give him the room to run at you. For his 2nd goal Morris should have had better cover. But both of our centre halves stood still looking at the linesman for an offside flag. We were asleep all first half. Fortunately we woke up 2nd half.

1 thing that I very rarely see people mention is how much goalkeeping has improved Standard of goalkeeping in early 90’s was embarrassingly bad
