Prime Minister Netanyahu's first in-person press conference since the war with Iran began. I went ahead with the first question.
Iranian sources tell us there are elements within this current regime who want to defect. However, a movement or leader has yet to capture enough momentum that would allow those defections to take place en masse.
The Prime Minister also stated tonight that he โis not sureโ who is currently leading Iran, a nation of more than 90 million people. He added that the Ayatollahโs son, Mojtaba, has not been seen publicly since the war began.
Remarkably, Netanyahu conceded that the current Islamic regime might survive this war. He said that they would be weakened, but could remain in power.
