@nothings That said, I expect the actual reason for 360 is that is evenly divisible by 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, and 12. You have to skip 7 and 11 but honestly that's about as it gets* in that range. *probably without the "about" but haven't tried a proof

@Love2Code I would say it depends on the viewing distance and the size of the screen. On a TV it's a gimmick, but for a 49'' ultra wide monitor it's quite nice.
