If Somalia's government can mobilise thousands of troops, swiftly move heavily-armed Turkish-trained troops and hardware for nearly 200 km - over hostile territory - in a show of might and in a bid to forcibly dislodge a recalcitrant regional leader, the question arises: why not direct this lethal military might against Al-Shabaab? Why depend on Ugandan, Kenyan and Ethiopian troops?

Pesaflow Limited, registered in 2017 and owned by Frank Lawrence Ochieng Weya, Charles Wambani Sewe, Evid Araka Sibi and Larry Ochieng Agoro, stands at the center of the e-Citizen scandal. The firm allegedly used an unapproved account at Equity Bank to funnel Sh6.3 billion, and its opaque structure and overlapping directorships raise serious questions. Even as MPs are investigating, it was revealed that the director’s names can no longer be accessed from the government services portal. Goodness!

He is in critical condition, undergoing scans to assess spinal damage; injuries inflicted when police officers forcibly a bundled him into their subaru. Disturbingly, Hon Tuju remains under police watch even as he receives treatment. We thank the Karen Hospital team for their exemplary care, and we stand firmly with Hon. Tuju until his full recovery. William Ruto; you called us scavengers. If Tuju is truly your friend, prove it: STOP THE DAYLIGHT LAND GRAB. Respect his rights, and order the immediate withdrawal of police from his hospital room.

The proliferation of manifestly defective charges by the DPP and the toleration of the same by Magistrates is worrisome. Clearly, the Chief Magistrate’s Court is being treated as an extension of the Executive through the Ministry of Interior, the IG of NPS, the DCI and the DPP. This must be countermanded.

This is exactly the thinking of impeached deputy president Gachagwa of tribalism, hate & shares. When kibaki did Thika superhighway & Uhuru did mau mau roads & Nairobi expressway the taxpayers paid for it ; why is it that when President Ruto does Rironi-mau summit dualing of the road, extends Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) to Luo Nyanza it becomes a problem ? Police in Limuru are holding an elderly woman accused of assaulting her husband with a blunt object along his back in Karanjee area. The victim sustained serious injuries and was initially treated at Tigoni Level 4 Hospital before being referred to Kenyatta National Hospital, where he is currently receiving medical attention. Authorities have launched investigations into the incident as the suspect remains in custody pending legal action.
