@NYChrisG I think it's just harder not because it's hard but because after the Big 3 (SF6,T8,Strive) getting matches in other games becomes infrequent so it can take longer just to get matches thoughts?

@RyanJosephHart Also if we have taunts why don't use those, I think that's just on the game design, In SF6 taunts not only take a while to start they also take a while to end and are non cancelable so they're kinda not fun to do

@RyanJosephHart Nah! it's also a way to fluster your opponent into playing more emotionally, Think of it as an aggro mechanic in RPG, it has its tactical advantage mid game; also if we remove it something else will take it's place.

I'm wondering if we need to abolish that teabagging is a form of disrespect in the FGC.
Seems to do more harm than good overall.
Let's actually look at this a second, the player is just crouching multiple times, that's it! It builds no meter, does zero damage, and gives no advantage.
I think I just dont really understand why are we blindly following a random group from online gaming that decided this is some kind of insult, if as a community we are saying we dont like it.
Games have taunts already, why are we creating more?
Maybe it's just me (I hate insecure-man-aggression and violence at weigh-ins and stuff too), so if its just me, then ok, you fine folk just carry on.
On the more technical side of things, it also means that fuzzy guarding or proximity guard release can be mistaken as an insult instead of legitimate strategy, has happened in the past. (Tekken/VF ground pound etc)
I'd understand if everybody loved it, that would be different, but seeing people trash Punks entire amazing performance just because of that one moment makes we wonder "Do we really need this thing as a community?"
On the flipside it's also difficult though, because at the same time we do need ways to create hype and excitement and those amazing storylines that go on for years.
Sometimes you need people who go off the rails and break the "script" through personal expression, just like we have strong personalities and expressive people in any sport.
In this case the two have a a back story too, which also makes sense.
I guess we don't want everything in-game to become too stiff, but people clearly weren't happy this time so where is the line?

If this game fails I will never forgive the FGC.
It has rollback, it has crossplay, it has sauce, it has charm, it's all motion inputs, it's a popular IP and it's only $30. If Avatar can't do it, then we truly deserve the current state of Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8.

@_RushG While the colors are not the craziest rewards we could get, its better than not getting anything at all, like most FG's do when you get to highranks, it's also free, if they were harder to acquire then it would've been more of an issue how "low effort" they are

@GhostFrom3S Nah bad take, crazy of you to keep the long range projectile zoner, but replace the close range slow grappler for a rush down grappler. And Keep Ken easily the most replaceable one on the main list not only is he shoto pt.2 he was also replaced by Sean on 3rd Strike

The only SF2 characters that I think should return beyond SF6 is Ryu, Chun-Li, Guile and Ken being a maybe.
Gief can be replaced by Mika
T Hawk already got replaced
Sim and or Blanka can be replaced by Necros
Honda can EASILY be replaced
