It's not about nerfing the character it's about balancing "part" of their toolset. Something specific is over-tuned. There is a big difference between these two things, detuning a specific thing makes the game healthier. SF6 has a lot of poorly designed moves IMO

Hi, appreciate your reply. I'm coming at this from the current facts. The current facts show us that in over three years of sf6, devs are clearly not moderating things in the way people are requesting, so since there is no way to change the game ourselves then what actual option is there other than just getting on with it? People had complained about Akuma since vanilla sf4, but 7 years later in Ultra SF4 he was still S-Tier. The pubdevs are simply not dancing to our tune on this stuff.

I don’t know where this thought process originated from but the idea that people will just complain about the next thing has NEVER been a good reason to not fix/nerf something. This is a thought terminating statement.

@BigNastyKail Ah yes, that makes a lot of sense. So the lack of rotation is where the gripe comes from, not necessarily from the concept of top tiers itself. Gotcha. I definitely understand that must be frustrating.

Ryan Hart my sexy goat of all goats. But hard disagree. Competitive games should have a healthy rotation of metas and top tiers. Trying to preserve a character’s strength in sf6 had lead to stagnation, especially caused by Capcoms failure uphold their word of “frequent changes”
