Musings of a Curious Nature
@Meeeeemster
Writer. Observer. Reluctant optimist. Tracking the stories that slip through the cracks.

Refuel energy markets. Rest and rearm the military. Develop a plan to support Iranians to cripple the regime. Enforce sanctions with relentless pressure. Don’t get played at the negotiating table. Test Tehran early. Give little. Demand results. Walk away fast. Hit harder.

The Hamas movement has published its official response to the Iranian MOU, which reads as follows: “We welcome the announcement of the agreement regarding the memorandum of understanding between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America. We extend our sincere congratulations to the Islamic Republic of Iran, its people and its leadership, and express our appreciation for its steadfastness and its commitment to its national rights and interests in the face of pressures and challenges, which contributed to thwarting attempts to impose dictates and projects of hegemony on the region. We hope that this agreement will constitute a step that contributes to enhancing regional stability and will have a positive impact on various issues in the region, foremost among them the immediate cessation of the ongoing Zionist aggression against our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and the ending of the repeated attacks and violations against Lebanon and other fronts. We affirm that security and stability in the region will not be achieved as long as the occupation government continues its war of extermination, starvation, and displacement against our Palestinian people, and unless the true roots of the conflict—namely, the Zionist occupation and the denial of our people’s legitimate rights—are confronted.” As commentators debate the language of the MOU, it is important to keep in mind the close coordination retained through Qaddoumi’s office and even between Hazem Qassem and Iran, to say nothing of Khalil al-Hayya—a figure from the ranks of the Sinwar flank of the movement.

Why should Israel respect Somalia’s claims to Somaliland? What does it owe a failed state that doesn’t even recognize it?

"The Greater Israel Project is a figment of your imagination". Nonstop narcissistic gaslighting.

@YungxJayy an entire group of people who are getting away with committing genocide & stealing land on three fronts, who do it in the name of their own identity, yet we're the problem for acknowledging it. mmh.

A group of 40–50 settler terrorists torched a mosque with people inside and several cars in the West Bank. How could the IDF have missed 40 young men on their way to attack a village? In fact, they couldn't have. They must have chosen to let it happen.

.@DeepNotShallow tells Hasan the details about what happened and why multiple venues were cancelled. This shit is absolutely insane and it is so blatantly obvious what happened here. Insane shit. You can't silence the voices of the people.

Hasan Piker is saying the quiet part out loud. Jihadi Mamdani is just the beginning. Democrats want to fully transform America into communist China. It starts with Mamdani and ends with bread lines and mass famines. We can’t let them do this to America.

NEW ALL-TIME HIGH: Francesca Hong has a 45% chance to win the Wisconsin Democratic Governor nomination

Photos that go so unbelievably hard.

I strongly condemn today's Israeli strikes on Beirut. The strikes took place despite the ceasefire & at a time when the US & Iran are expected to reach an agreement that will pave the way to a peaceful resolution of this conflict. This conflict is having a devastating impact on the world's economy. I urge all parties to show maximum restraint at this crucial moment & I strongly hope for a successful outcome of the ongoing efforts by the US & Iran.
