They claim that Noah preached to the whole earth about the coming floods, but how comes we as Afrikans got to know about the floods from the bible brought by the colonisers yet not from our ancestors?

When Moses was alone on Mt Sinai, God showed him the pattern for the Tabernacle and all of its furnishings. It's impossible to build a new Temple only from the instructions in Torah today, because they were deliberately left incomplete. The Talmud and Jewish tradition are helpful, but are also incomplete, not to mention not entirely trustworthy. Only divine revelation can supply the missing information.
