@mattzarb @johnmerro1 I mean we do know because they make billions by taking bets. So it’s in their interest to take bets. What do you mean uphold terms? The bet is stuck and will be settled. No firm could guarantee 100% uptime on games for cash out. It’s simply not possible.

@Merrie89 @johnmerro1 I don’t know for a fact and neither do you, but they are still at fault regardless. Consumers should be compensated adequately as they couldn’t uphold the terms under which bets were made. But that won’t happen there are no avenues for redress as we still don’t have an ombudsman!

Lots of people very unhappy with Bet365 in the comments and rightly so. If we had effective consumer protection regulation, as well as a gambling ombudsman like the government promised ages ago, then all bets would be settled as a cash-out at the point Bet365’s website crashed

@mattjones_sport This is such a miss leading stat. It’s not controlled for game state. When a team goes behind they have more of the ball as the oppo sit in, and vice versa. Eg the Gillingham and Colchester games.

Tranmere had nearly 60% of the ball today, but leave empty handed. In fact, since the start of 2024, they average 0.46 ppg when having more possession than their opposition (LDDLLLWLLLLDL) That compares to 1.9 ppg when having less possession (DWWDDWDWWDWLWLWLW) #TRFC

I don’t think I could’ve been anymore wrong. A defensive midfield in a 433 there, with Patrick & Morris as wingers. Morris & Dennis don’t exactly offer much pace upfront. Josh Hawkes not even on the bench is a worry. #TRFC #SWA
