@MesolithicMe

Amateur antiquarian snuffling about the Mesolithic - Neolithic transition in Britain. Drinker of coffee, unless beer is avaliable. I like beer... beer is good!

@stef18881 Got admitted last Saturday. An the hospital I'm in, Addenbrookes, is currently undergoing infection control hence the single room and although visitors are welcome they're not encouraging them. Besides would rather sort things out in my head first before seeing anyone.

Well 2025 is certainly living up to being worse than 2024 on a personal level. Had a foot infection, consulted Dr. Ambulance called, go to hospital, find out I'm suffering from heart failure. And whilst in hospital weight goes from 51 Kg down to 47 Kg! Oh happy joy joy.

What a patriot! The UK’s richest plumber from £70m fortune quitting Britain over Labour tax raid Charlie Mullins is the country's richest plumber but has moved to Spain over fears he could be hit with a nasty inheritance tax bill. express.co.uk/news/politics/…

@JohnWest_JAWS Not too sure that a privately owned company can describe itself as a political party. That aside, of course it's the fastest growing - all the other parties already have a vast majority of their members. All Reform are doing is playing 'catch up' or attempting to.

@natalieben The best way to grow the economy would be to redirect the money being syphoned off into the pockets of the extremely wealthy into society through fair pay and taxation. Along with frictionless trade with the EU.

Very proud of my friend Susan who has written this beautiful children’s book. She doesn’t have the marketing machine of a Walliams but worth checking out if you like engaging nature writing for kids.

Left: Priti Patel complaining about not being able to send back failed asylum seekers Right: Even GB News acknowledge that Labour have sent back thousands of failed asylum seekers Why have Labour been able to do it, but the Conservatives were not able to do it?

@melspence2 @PaulbernalUK If I remember correctly, there is a museum within sight of the Parthenon which houses a set of replicas so it could be a case of doing a direct swap.
