This week marks 28 YEARS at @BBCRadio2 for me 🧡 I’d never have dreamed back in 1997 when I was making STEVE WRIGHT’S tea, that I would go on to produce Dame @elaine_paige! ❤️ Every line I’ve ever written, every song I’ve ever chosen, every plate I’ve ever spun, is a privilege 🧡

So good to have @elaine_paige back ❤️ We had a new microphone, a new Pearls of Wisdom book, and a new on-air trail 🧡 It was like the first day of autumn term, with a new pencil case, a new compass and a new set square… and the excitement of seeing your favourite friend 😍

So excited to hear West End star Claire Moore is to play Scrooge in @hopemilltheatre’s production and musical version of A Christmas Carol which opens @The_Lowry on 6th Dec. It’s the first time this version has Scrooge portrayed as a woman, a great casting choice 🙌🏻
