@peter_sarris I looked into the Cambridge engineering courses and was shocked to learn that they do only 1/3 - 1/4 of the total hours of individual examination as I did back in South Africa. The uni I attended was part of the MIT exchange, we only sent 2 students a year (1/2)

1/2 Over thirty years teaching in academia in Oxbridge I have observed massive degree grade inflation. I have observed three main reasons: 1) Students do genuinely work harder than they used to. The world beyond graduation is genuinely much tougher.

@redrumlisa I know refugees from Africa probably spent 30-40K for this journey. Yes refugees industry is so big. Probably those LBC gain profits from it.

The refugee industry is now so lucrative its here to stay the refugee industry now supports smugglers, hoteliers, taxi companies, catering companies, many charities & NGOs, private health care & Dentists, Landlords, counsellors & other mental health organisations, retail clothing businesses, all paid for by the British taxpayer except the smuggling the refugees pay that bit. Its not going anywhere refugees are a whole industry now.
