@SJUDave College hoops is nearing an end without a total overhaul of the rules. They need mandatory age limits for euros. g league players should be ineligible. This is beyond stupid. If he’s granted eligibility then so be it for LSU. They r just playing within the lack of rules

RJ Luis Jr. signed a 2 way deal with the Utah Jazz and was subsequently involved in a trade with the Boston Celtics. He also played in an exhibition game with the Celtics scored 4 pts.
Pretty ridiculous the complete free for all in this sport.

I’m really excited by the job that @RealPitino, @steve_masiello, @EdKullStJohnsAD, and Tommy Ostrom have done building next year’s team as we continue taking steps toward becoming a Final Four program.
I’m incredibly proud of Rick, the entire coaching staff, and the players from the last two seasons for what they accomplished.
Think about this…….
Who would’ve thought 5 years ago that St. John's Red Storm would become BACK-TO-BACK Big East Regular Season Champions…
BACK-TO-BACK Big East Tournament Champions…
And win an NCAA Tournament game in both seasons.
That’s culture.
That’s leadership.
That’s belief.
That’s @StJohnsBBall program being back where it belongs!!!!!
But I also believe we may need ONE more final piece of the puzzle to truly become a Top 10 team and make a serious Final Four run.
I’ve always lived by the mantra:
“Think Big. Dream Bigger.”
Who do you think can be that final piece of the puzzle???
Could be:
• A portal player
• Someone testing the NBA Draft waters who could still return to college
• An overseas player
You can give me more than one choice but must rank them in the order of preference.

Yes, St. John's University is eligible and scheduled to host the 2027 NCAA Men's Basketball East Regional at Madison Square Garden on March 26 and 28, 2027, alongside the Big East Conference. As the host institution, they are permitted to participate in the tournament if selected by the NCAA
