What baseball has done with pitch clock and ABS is unbelievable. One of the most traditional games making adjustments and it rewarding the fans. Just smart stuff and the online interaction from ABS can’t be denied. Bravo Baseball.

Abreu can’t be a closer.
They’re gonna have to find someone in the bullpen to handle the 9th inning (until Hader returns).
He’s a setup man and that’s where he’s always worked most efficiently. He is what he is at this point. Joe needs to recognize this.

I think pitching will round into form, but could be rough early on while they get their feet under them.

If the offense does this, then they can be good. I believe that the starting pitching will lock in.
I have a hard time seeing the offense be consistent enough, but they can always prove me wrong.

For sure. I think more than anything it was nice to see the offense explode today. We have to split tomorrow though. These games matter and they will down the stretch. For THIS club, these games matter.

@BenOndaTop All you really want in the first month is to be around .500 I’ll never complain about an opening split with a division opponent (if we can get it tomorrow). The West is what it is. Very winnable. Staying healthy is the most important thing.

Still won the series. One bad inning doesn’t take anything away from that. 2-1 is a lot better than 0-3. Good lesson for the team to never take their foot off the break. #RepTheHalo
