A D4 Enhanced Risk for Monday, 3/16 is rare for the East Coast but I actually think the SPC isn't aggressive enough. I fully expect the severe weather zone to expand northward, as the warm sector stretches to New England and best forcing is in PA/NY. Main threat is damaging winds

@TonyMeatball11 Definitely not totally out of the woods. But I have a hard time buying the widespread 10-14” the GFS has been showing. It came much more down to earth.

Although the GFS still has a potential major snowstorm on Monday for the northeast, it clearly has been trending significantly towards other guidance. Imo it's extremely unlikely this storm actually occurs as the GFS shows.
