@CirceLover @fake_api @CJ_NFA @kolatubosun @elonmusk As for @fakeAPI getting banned, I’m guessing it was for using the twitter logo. I also assume you reported it, because you’re a thin-skinned and feeble weenie who couldn’t counter his arguments.

Third-party Twitter apps like Twitterrific and Tweetbot have stopped working tonight, but others like Aviary still work. Feels targeted.

Hard to say if this is incompetence or malice at Elon's Twitter, but the fact that not all apps are impacted makes it feel like the latter.

If Twitter actually kills these popular apps, I'm not using Twitter for iPhone. It's absolute trash. Just came from Mastodon to say that.

Fedex just delivered a package my parents ordered to a house that isn’t even in the correct state. Some house in Mississippi. ???????

It’s all driven by a web standard called ActivityPub, which allows them all to communicate even though they all run different software.

All of these federated social services talk to each other and accept each other as peers even if they aren’t the same type of website.

I just found out one of my first favorited posts on Mastodon was from a site running a fork of a completely different non-Mastodon software.
