Somalian: A noun used to describe a terrifying projection of one's own insecurities. Usually found in the sentence: "The Somalians are taking over Minnesota." Somali: A proper noun denoting an ethnic group that is statistically likely to be your nurse, your Uber driver, or the only person on the block who makes Somali tea so good it instantly lifts your whole mood.

My brother is an interventional cardiologist. He steps in during life-or-death cardiac emergencies and has saved countless patients in Minnesota, many of them white.

Bloomington police arrested 16 men this month in a sex sting called “Operation Creep”. The men are accused of trying to solicit a minor for sex. Chief Booker Hodges says one of the men they arrested is an ICE employee: “When he was arrested, he said ‘I’m ICE, boys.’”
