I’ve proven for 35 years that I don’t know anything about equities valuations, but I did live the dot-com bubble first hand. Some observations: 1. Sun was a secondary player, Nvidia is the only game in town. 2. A better parallel is probably Cisco, which in retrospect had massive sales growth, partly driven in 1999 because customers facing shortages would order through multiple channels with the intention of stocking up or canceling some if they both came in. Cisco sales fell very quickly in 2001 as those cancels rolled in. I wonder if Nvidia is experiencing that now? 3. An even better example is probably Netscape which went public in 1996, was arguably the first insanity valuation of the bubble and started the tsunami that took 5 years to crest. 4. OTOH, I got married on April 15, 2000. The Nasdaq fell by 25% that week, and 10% that day. I’m getting married again this June. Caveat emptor.

Was called “scum bag” by an anonymous account, bc I favor contractors’ right to stay contractors when they’re driving for the Ubers. (Yes on CA 22) Was surprisingly impactful. I can’t imagine how it must feel to be attacked frequently like so many ppl have to deal with.
