@theJeremyVine @crisortunity I fear the problem arises because people from elsewhere in the UK and most of the USA are unused to bike lanes. I know many cyclists who use the road rather than the bike lanes because they consider it safer. I just ring my bell a lot and say thank you if pedestrians move.
