@xenobangs Unless Violet has some ventilation in that force field, wouldn't smoke inhalation be a problem?

@Shortcakeberrys @CurryCrossin @Maximumatheist So those below the age of accountability are saved, and go to heaven. Too long, didn't read: the consequence of sin is death, and humanity has lived in unrepentant sin for too long. God had to act, and judged then accordingly, save for Noah and his family, obviously. 4/4

@Shortcakeberrys @CurryCrossin @Maximumatheist They haven't reached the age of accountability yet. That's a theological concept that children are not held spiritually responsible for sin until they reach an age of moral understanding, a moment when there's an understanding of sin and redemption, or "right and wrong". 3/3

@LindenG @ulfgardleo @CurryCrossin @Maximumatheist Immediately after Nathan (the prophet) told the parable earlier in the chapter (12) and declared, "You are the man!" David repented, saying: "I have sinned against the Lord" (2 Samuel 12:13). Before his meeting, David lived in unrepentant sin for close to a year. 6/?

@MiserMackMan @Maximumatheist Well I mean we'd have to do tests on whether not said necklace is the one protecting the baby, whether it works for others, for non believers vs people of faith, of which faiths it works for, and then with that data I'll form my opinions. Anyways it's a weird hypothetical.

@Moony29866405 @gugglyguy @CurryCrossin @Maximumatheist The Bible states that God written the law and morality into human hearts, which was present with the first humans, Adam and Eve. Eating the fruit did not mean humans were completely devoid of all knowledge of right and wrong, but rather it ushered in the experience of evil, 1/2

@gugglyguy @CurryCrossin @Maximumatheist That capacity is necessary so that we can genuinely choose a relationship, and so we aren't slaves or soulless automatons, only able to worship and love Him. 3/3

@gugglyguy @CurryCrossin @Maximumatheist Knowledge *of good and evil. That was humanity's direct action and defiance, not God's action or will. He gave us free will so that we can have a genuine, mutual relationship with Him, and that free will comes with the capacity to do evil. 2/3

@kiefsherwoodlvr @Maximumatheist I'm not defending them. I just said that their hypothetical is flawed. I just don't think you should be that harsh on them over something petty and trivial like an X post.
