Year Six enjoyed learning all about sugar awareness and dental hygiene this morning as part of #SugarAwarenessWeek @MissGrovesMLP @MabLanePri We discovered how sugar is hidden in lots of foods & how we can make healthier choices for our teeth

Reception were very lucky to have school health in yesterday to discuss how to look our teeth for sugar awareness week 🦷 we had so much fun cleaning the teeth, discussing what food was healthy and unhealthy for our teeth too😄! @MabLanePri #PSHE

This morning we had school health in @MabLanePri teaching us all about dental hygiene, it was fantastic and hands on. We danced with Barney and played games about healthy choices #dentalhygiene #eyfs 🦷🪥😬🦷🪥😬

Reception Grey loved learning all about Diwali in our music lesson today! First we listened to the music & danced however we liked, then we learned 5 moves that symbolised one part of Diwali. Well done Reception, we all had so much fun! 🤩 @MabLaneMusic @MabLanePri @MissKellyMLP

For #AntiBullyingWeek, we thought about respect and what this means to us and how important it is. We completed practical activities demonstrating how important kindness is. We ended our lesson writing an acrostic poem @MrMorganMLP @MabLanePri @MissKellyMLP @MissGoldsmithML

Yesterday we celebrated #OddSockDay at @MabLanePri we wore our odd socks with pride and discussed how we show everyone respect, no matter our differences #respect

This afternoon we’ve participated in lots of #nurseryrhymeweek2024 activities surrounding our nursery rhyme today, ‘5 currant buns’. We’ve made our own currant buns, put pom poms onto currant buns using our fine motor skills and looked at one less in our bakers shop! ⁦

Children can bring money in and get something from our Pudsey cart this week to help raise money for @BBCCiN 🐻‍❄️❤️ @MabLanePri

Yesterday we started #NurseryRhymeWeek2024 with twinkle twinkle little star. ⭐️🌟✨ we completed lots of activities such as sequencing the rhyme, scissor skills cutting out stars and deciding who is a star in our lives #CommunicationAndLanguage
