300 followers 🎉 Thanks everyone. It’s been great connecting with so many of you. I’ve only been on X properly for about a month and I’m far from a social media expert, so I’m pretty happy with that milestone. That said, it’s never really been about the follower count. The FinX community has genuinely added real value. The shared DD, ideas and discussions have literally made me thousands already. This community introduced me to $NOW and $MU alone both which have flown up! What other community can offer that kind of value?!

Woah a bit of destabilisation at the end of the day of the European markets. Currently 1.8% down in the last 24h. Lots of red in the asset allocation. Have we finally reached the top? How has everyone’s portfolio got on today?

Everyone wants to buy the SpaceX IPO on day one. History says wait. Research consistently shows IPOs perform well in their first few days then underperform for up to three years afterwards. The pattern with mega IPOs is brutal: A Reuters analysis of the 15 largest IPOs in history showed that beyond the first day pop the first year's performance for most was a major flop. IPOs underperform the market by an average of 2-3% per year. Four out of five IPOs underperform a small cap index. The hype is real. The returns often aren't. Then there's the lock up period. 90-180 days after IPO insiders can't sell. The moment that expires? Prices can move violently as early investors cash out. Let the hype die. Let the lock up expire. Buy the dip that often follows. The best entry into a great company is rarely day one.

Off the financial topic Who is everyone’s picks for the World Cup? Personally, I think Portugal have a great chance of winning it, great squad and maybe it is finally CR7s year. Obviously, would love England to win it, think we will crash out at the 1/4 final. #FIFAWC2026

@TeslaAlien I do like the option to be able to take dividends, I use Trading212 so currently reinvest any dividends immediately. I do believe that the US Market will out perform the rest.

@MitchInvest What do you do with the dividends? if you just reinvest, may as well just be on the accumulation versions. Why are you overweight US also? are you expecting US outperformance over the next few decades?

Current projection for the month ahead is that I will be investing £1800 a month! Around £620 of that will be going into £VUSA and £VWRL. The rest will be going into separate pies including Oil and Banks Should I invest more into my ETFs? How much do you invest currently?

@MitchInvest I don't get why people do VUSA and VWRL. Makes no sense when VWRL is like 62% US market anyway. You are just significantly overweight US doing this. I also don't understand why in your 20's you'd be buying the distribution ETF over the accumulation 🤷‍♂️

Chest and triceps today 💪 Healthy mind, healthy wallet is what they say right? Anyway ive always taken the gym seriously. Its got me through the hardest times mentally and rewarded me physically and mentally in the long run.

Let’s talk about $O Always been a great admirer of this stock, low volatility and a steady reliable dividend income. Current Dividend Yield - 5.4% However, as a UK Investor the thing that puts me off is the withholding tax. Do you have $O in your portfolio? If so, why?
