Been lurking on here for a while, probably time to properly start interacting. Cashed out my ISA which was just VUSA for £7,000 profit after holding for a few years to pursue a property deal that never materialised. Now fully back in.

Why is $NBIS selling off??? Because New York Governor Kathy Hochul announced a one year pause on new hyperscale data centres over 50MW. $NBIS has exactly ZERO planned data centres in New York. Yes this is a buying opportunity. Next.

Is anyone else noticing more UK pubs shutting on the quiet days? I pass two on the way to the gym that are shut Monday and Tuesday. This one is literally opposite the train station. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come.

I see a lot of people stressing over impressions, followers, likes, and engagement. Three months ago, I asked ChatGPT what I should do in my free time. Added to $ADBE $MSFT & $NOW positions today after the ridiculous selloff thanks to $IBM. I don’t hide the fact I’m a huge fan of software stocks at these valuations. In a world that is led by the innovation of AI, these companies still benefit from the incorporation to their already strong business models. For me this isn’t a case of “software or AI”, they can benefit from each other and they’re already showing that. Bullish on both but one side is MUCH more attractively valued right now.

@GrahamCompton @TheParaInvestor Even when I was 18, 12 years my small hometown had a great nightlife. Probably one late night bar open now. Blame $META 😂

@TheParaInvestor When I first moved to Cheltenham 30 years ago, there were loads of clubs, with quite a few open every night. I think that there are about 2-3 open only at weekends now.

Well, looks like I’m finishing the day in the red, mostly thanks to the $IBM earnings chasing a sell-off in $MSFT and $NOW. Used the opportunity to add more $MSFT while the market offered it at a discount. $MSFT and $NOW are now my #3 and #4 positions. My conviction hasn’t changed in the slightest. I still think top SaaS performers are setting up for a strong recovery. Happy to keep buying while sentiment is weak. Hope everyone’s made some money today.

I have no car payment. I have an investment portfolio larger than my mortgage. I earn in excess over my monthly needs. To many this would feel like success, but I feel trapped in work and want more free time. The next steps in my journey are about buying time back.
