@MizzAugust7 By the Grace of God and the program of AA i have never relapsed since i went thru treatment.
I stayed DRY for 6 weeks one time just to show the wife.
She told me i was a bigger A..hole dry then when i was drinking.
i left the house went up town for a few.
that all i drank a few

I never relapsed, so Im not fond of the thought that says its part of Recovery
Nahh, it happens cause Recovery wasnt placed First in your life.

@LloydCh06965157 Just tell yourself the truth- it doesnt matter, youre still learning & everybody messes up ALL the Time. Stop beating yourself up for minor social faux pas . Count your blessings- you werent born with a stutter, you can walk, theres a roof over your head & youre sober.

Funny how I can go through serious life shit and put together the tools of recovery to maintain sobriety and push though, but then I have ONE awkward social interaction that makes me cringe and I want to drink an entire bottle of Jack and drive off of a cliff. I’m not. Just sayin

@LloydCh06965157 Well what saved my Life- I tend to promote the shit out of😆I was a drunk driving, regretful actioned, changed from Day to Nightmare Drunk & I didnt KNOW it- there was No Internet & Nobody Talked about- alcoholism EVER. So when I found an AA meetings in time I was YEAH this Works

@dkwilk160338 I only drank in the morning sometimes, during Bike Week, cause that WAS the time to drink as much as possible. Party central, back when Bikers were Real Bikers.
