This misses one crucial piece of advice:
if you turn on the mic (to record what you say while screen recording) it remains on for the next screen recording too.
This has caught me out, as my screen recording also captured my sneezes & coughs.
So check the mic setting each time.

Some thoughts after today's #AppleEvent:
It's crazy that only the Pro models get USB 3 over USB-C. But at least there's no word of any 'made for iPhone' programme for USB-C.
One short reference to Qi2. But not sure if that mean iPhone 15 will fully support Qi2 at full speed.

@MarcSettle Of course I’m a bit biased. But I really hate the sound of too much noise reduction.
Just for fun, try to record some music with one of those noise-reduction microphones.

@MarcSettle 1, 2 and 4 add a lot of build-in noise reduction. Might come in handy in some cases, but will make everything sound like 64kbps MP3s just like in these examples.

It's curious that @rodemics haven't mentioned it yet but here's their new wireless mic - the Wireless Me.
It's similar but different to the Wireless Go system, with no LCD on the receiver unit.

@Mobilejourna @MarcSettle Can you tell me if the legs can be taken off on the small version? Seems to be possible in the bigger 10000 mAh grip.

I’m somewhat disappointed that there still doesn’t seem to be power bank available that has an integrated cold shoe. Yes, you can use brackets/clamps but that’s another piece for the set up, a power bank that goes right into the cold shoe mount of a camera would be easier.

@Mobilejourna @MarcSettle This is really interesting, thanks! I didn't even think about the handle functionality but that's clever on top. Can I buy this from you? I want to use this with a Sony Alpha 6400 which only takes Sony's small batteries and I have to attach a power bank for longer shoots.

@MarcSettle @smartfilming Ulanzi has power banks that serve as a handle/grip with 1/4” screw. And two top handle versions as well, one with cold shoe mount. Not sure if that’s what you’re looking for?

It only works on iOS 16 and it’s more at the ‘journalism’ end of mojo than the ‘creative, content making end’, but still.

@iFilmmakers @YouTube @FiLMiCPro Let’s hope they do very soon. I see @mythicStallion and @KiloSBB liking and commenting on tweets, so it’s pretty strange that there is still no official communication whatsoever.
