@rodemics it's an absolute no go that I have to update my wireless micros before I can use them. Especially, as the firmware update keeps failing. I bought the mics, they belong to me -- and you severely limit their operational use! #fail

@corinne_podger @rodemics There will be *some* reliable third-party adapters out there. But going to a direct lightning/USB lav mic will be much more expensive.

Bad news for some in the mojo world. Many mics need this cable to work with iPhones & often Apple’s adapter is reliable when 3rd party ones are not. I did some training at Radio Cumbria last year and everything worked except the dodgy non-Apple white cable - so nothing worked.

@dermedientyp If you mean this specific model with the paintjob seen here you would need to buy a new model from Irrbloss. Then I could replicate this paintjob on that one.

@MarcSettle @NicholasGarnett Actually, I got this 2 channel thing with another 15 Euro mic, too. Seems to depend on the manufacturer.

@dermedientyp You usually only get two channels with better/more expensive mics - although I think @NicholasGarnett has been trying a Boya one with two channels but which isn’t very costly. If you ask nicely, he might tell you more about it.

@MarcSettle Then I need your help: if you use two microphones it seems that the receiver mixes them into one audio and it sounds a bit strange. With other microphones each of the two microphones gets one channel. For instance you can hear the interview guest on the left on the left .... 1/2
