If a neighbor kid worked up enough courage to come knock on my door, tell me he’s hungry, I would not laugh at him and give him a bag of Cheetos so he would go away. In a now viral moment, grown men and women were trash talking the little boy saying he looks like he ate already and worst. I don’t want to think that we’ve gone so far downhill that we are picking on a hungry child. We don’t know what he has going on at home, the facts are straight up. He’s a child and he’s hungry, what more do we need to know. The neighbors said they are done cooking but haven’t eaten yet. That tells me they got more than enough to spare a plate for a hungry child. Like I said before, I am not going to invite him in because that’s weird to invite someone else’s child in but I would make him a plate and make sure he’s safe. People that are saying that they would never feed someone else’s kid is the problem, if they were that worried they can have him ask his mother first. If he came by your house would you feed him or send him along his way hungry?
