Afroman comes out victorious in the lawsuit filed against him by several Ohio sheriff's deputies. On Wednesday (March 18), the jury decided the rapper was not liable for defamation for posting footage from the officers' raid on his home in music videos and mocking them on social media. Afroman spoke to the press outside the courthouse. "I didn't win, America won. America still has freedom of speech. It's still for the people, by the people," he said.

Lil Wayne insists that he's too good to be replaced by AI. On Wednesday (March 18), Tunechi appeared on the Not Just Football with Cam Heyward and Hayden Walsh podcast, where the Louisiana rap legend talked about his musical journey, connection to sports and more. The sit-down also included Wayne addressing the rise of AI in music. "It's a challenge," Wayne said. "I love that AI is what it is. ’Cause, man, I love to be able to stand right next to whoever AI is—he, she, whatever AI is—stand right next to them and say, 'I'm still better.'" When Heyward noted that a computer-created facsimile could never replace the real Wayne, Tunechi noted, "No, not at all. Recently, AI has been taking over all aspects of life, including music. Companies are doing what they can to prevent the uprising. Earlier this month, Apple Music launched AI Transparency Tags to flag AI-generated content.

42 Dugg wonders what it would be like if actor Heath Ledger was still here. Ledger famously starred as Joker in the 2008 movie The Dark Knight, which he finished filming a few months before his death that year. “I been up almost 2 hours just reading about an watching clips of heath ledger ,wondering you know ,what it would’ve been like if that wasn’t his last role ,also wondering if it just took too much out of him to where he wasn’t comfortable being his self no more ,we a never know,” Dugg says. Do you think Heath Ledger was the best Joker?

Rick Ross has reportedly issued Remy Ma a cease-and-desist letter over her new move about a correctional officer-turned-rapper. On Wednesday (March 18), TMZ broke the news about Rozay attempting to impede the release of the film, which is titled The Biggest Boss and is slated to be released on the new Remy Ma Network this summer. The film centers around a C.O. who steals a drug dealer's life story and flips the situation into a rap career. Ross is reportedly claiming the film features unauthorized use of his music and trade name, and he is trying to stop its release. The plot of the film somewhat mirrors the come-up story of Rick Ross, who was formerly a C.O. before adopting the moniker of Los Angeles drug kingpin Freeway Ricky Ross and embarking on a successful rap career. A rep for Remy Ma tells TMZ the film was not made to spite Rozay. "Remy was personally unaware of the concerns raised regarding 'The Biggest Boss' and takes the matter seriously," the statement reads. "She has maintained a personal and professional relationship with Rick Ross for more than 20 years and would never intentionally engage in any action that could harm his brand or cause offense." The statement continues: "[Remy] has also reached out to [Ross] directly. Upon being made aware of the issue, the title was immediately removed from the platform. The Remy Network is now working closely with its partners to strengthen review processes and ensure that situations like this do not occur moving forward." On Wednesday, 50 Cent weighed in on the news and appeared to be amused. "😆 LOL what happened here HAHAHAHAAHHA LMAO," he tweeted. XXL has reached out to Rick Ross' team and Remy Ma's camp for comment.
