@RacingArmchair It would be a monumental loss, but to answer the question there are two reasons at play: PI is old and creaky with outdated facilities, and Dorna actively wants to move races to places with larger population centres.

Brutal year: the newly-crowned MotoGP and Moto3 World Champions both injured and out for the rest of the season and the 2024 #1 injured most of the year. Are 44 races too many? These are not baseball games (162 in regular season)...44 races=nearly 4 seasons in 1 by 90s standards.
