OMG. 2 days ago, Colorado democrats all voted NO on protecting kids from being sold into sex slavery … Today they presented a bill to make sex slavery legal STATEWIDE. That’s never been done in any state. Colorado is run by *actual* demons.

@MotherGrundy The Harp and Laurel Wreath is a good collection. Tom Tiddler’s Ground is an anthology of children’s poems that Walter de la Mare compiled. Also if you get on Ambleside online they list poetry under subjects and it’s a good starting place.

The Democrats are lying. Trump wasn’t being racist towards Barack and Michelle Obama.
The full video also depicts Joe Biden as a monkey, Hakeem Jeffries as a meerkat, and Kamala Harris as a turtle.
The President shouldn’t share foolish videos like that, but it’s not racist.

It would take just a moment to research and figure out that Trump did not share an "Obamas are apes" video. He shared a video about election fraud that, when screengrabbed, was stopped late and included the first few seconds of an auto-played, cheesy "Trump as King of the Jungle" video that put Democrat pols' faces on jungle animals and Trump's on the lion (notice the 1:00 out of 1:02 timestamp in the screenshot?). You may not like the video that followed what Trump was *actually* sharing. You might think it's racist. You might even think that whoever posted it (Trump or a social media manager) purposefully left in the two seconds of the jungle video to make a needless, overtly racist statement about a previous president (ridiculous, IMO). But for crying out loud, at least know what you're getting upset about. Don't be so emotional and lazy. Don't be like Russ.

I'm beginning to (kindly) treat Christian people who don't make room for Easter celebrations (planning events that week) like someone who doesn't know when Christmas is, like they are cotton headed ninny muggins. "Ha! That week is Holy Week! We celebrate Easter that week!"

You can just decide to enjoy parenting. Even if you are in a season that you find trying (newborn, potty training, puberty). You can just say to your soul, "I'm going to make this the best time of potty training there is!" and then do it.

You come through the haze of early years and the deepness of parenting teens causes you to engage and support your stances, read good books with them, and discuss them. You grow more wise, the decline switches to increase and real, substantiated growth generation by generation!

The father of seven has not finished a thought in four years. he is just moving. feeding. driving. wiping. his brain is soup and his back is finished and he has no opinions about civilization he is too tired for opinions. and meanwhile civilization is growing out of him like he is dirt and he doesnt even notice because there is milk on the floor again. the childfree man has read eleven books this year about the decline of the west and he is the decline and the books are the evidence and he will understand this at fifty eight in a room that is very clean and very quiet
