Miss Young and some Young STEM leaders had the absolute joy of going along to see the St.Rose of Lima P6 pupils showcase. This allowed them to show the work they done whilst completing our Science lessons that have been created in collaboration with our learning community. ⭐️

Mrs Fox’s solar punk tribes were working on their first curve ball and had visitors from SSERC, Debbie and STEM ambassador, Josh. The islands are developing well and they had some interesting solutions. The visitors were super impressed with the tribes progress and enthusiasm.

Our EDT Gold Cadets visited their mentors at Thales to develop their presentation skills and get ready for their final assessment next week. Thank you for the tour and feedback @thalesgroup . They took back many ideas on how they could enhance and develop their project.

Our first year Science family bags launch tomorrow. Watch out for our Young STEM Leaders coming round classes with your activity bags that will let you try out some fun experiments at home and learn about different Science based careers @StAndrewsRCSec

Our S2 pupils learned all about chemical engineering today. We know the essential skills required and that there is such a vast range of careers available. Thank you @SmartSTEMs @Ed_Acad_Scot for such a hands on and interactive day.

Such a fun day at NMIS learning about careers in the semiconductor industry. Over 18000 job vacancies in the next 9 years so skills, career pathways and lots of hands on activities was our focus for today. @StAndrewsRCSec

Some of our S5 girls attended a masterclass in law networking event at CMS for International Women’s Day. They had the opportunity to learn valuable skills through listening and starting conversations with professionals. Well done all! @StAndrewsRCSec
