Yesterday was the busiest day ever at airports in the US, with the @TSA reporting 2,884,783 people screened. It was also an incredibly smooth day of travel with fewer than one-half of one percent of 51,332 scheduled flights canceled.

Never leave the gate until that plane leaves. My flight just reopened the main cabin door and two paying pax got off since they wouldn’t make their connections.

@RebeccaStarodub Ugh, I’m sorry. That sucks. My problem is I’m sooooo entrenched in the Northwestern system. All my labs and such from my cancer journey, I feel trapped. Like I have to stay with them. Praying I can find a different doctor that can at least see me this year.

@MsShanBo I ended going outside of NW for my pcp for this reason, wait times were ridiculous the ones I called. Ob/gyn is affiliated with them though.

Just called Northwestern to find a new Primary Care Physician. First available appointment for the doctor I wanted was Feb 6th, 2024. What is wrong with this country? And yes, they know I have #cancer. Awesome. 🫠

@_ChiFashionist I hate that so much. I wonder if it is Covid backlogging the whole system or just burn out? Whatever it is, it’s a shame. So many people will suffer. Hope you get in soon!

@MsShanBo Ugh I’m so sorry. I feel you, my psych appointment is months out at Northwestern. And keeps getting pushed out. In the meantime I sit here spinning in my head like a crazy woman everyday 🤯
