I don’t respect any new games coming out from big ass AAA studios that aren’t pushing the innovation envelope. Marathon would have been cool if it came out in 2019. This shit is nothing new and doesn’t add anything new to the space. Unimmersive fps SLOP. Go next.

@Onepeg I mean if you talk to anyone that plays arc that’s arguably the biggest reason they play the game. The AI in arc feels like nothing else in the space. That’s innovation.

@Myth_ to be clear I love love arc raiders I think the game is great. I just don't think the "innovation" of that game is much to speak on any moreso than marathon.

@Onepeg They built from the ground up virtual machine learning AI robots and deployed them in a pvpve environment??

@Myth_ Was the innovation of arc raiders being casual friendly? I love the game, but they didn’t invent anything new. They just did what already worked in an immersive way and pressed for people to be nicer with a third person camera.

@dread_donut Apex feels and plays 3x better than Marathon and came out 7 years ago.
