The @NBHSMaths team sends our congratulations to our winners for the @UKMathsTrust Senior Maths Challenge 2024 #SMC2024 We have 1 Gold, 1 Silver and 4 Bronze winners!

Today we have had our first A Level Further Maths mock exam. Tomorrow (Tuesday), our Year 11s will do their first GCSE mock exam, non calculator. Good luck! @NBHSMaths have our fingers crossed for you! @NorthBromsgrove

And our next Maths competition will be the @UKMathsTrust Intermediate Maths Challenge 2025 where there will be well over 200 participants taking part! Who will be our winners? Our thanks go to Mr Harper for organising the competitions for this academic year! @NorthBromsgrove

And as well as that, our 26 @UKMathsTrust Senior Maths Challenge participants also contributed to our @nbhsCARE Scholars Cup, and for this competition, Churchill are the winners. Well done! @NorthBromsgrove

We also extend our congratulations to Umar in Year 13 who as well as achieving Gold (being in the top 11% of all entrants) who qualified for the Senior Kangaroo. Well done! @NorthBromsgrove

Today was Day 1 of the Developing A Level Maths pedagogy focusing on maths modelling @NBHSMaths @NorthBromsgrove for @GLOWMaths Lots of fruitful discussions and collaborative planning. Next task - for all of us to deliver to our A Level groups! Well done to all 10 involved!

Here we offer Maths and Further Maths at A Level @NorthBromsgrove. We are also proud to have colleagues in @NBHSMaths that work in partnership with @GLOWMaths and lead on the latest trends of teaching A Level Maths to various schools across Worcestershire and Gloucestershire.

Thoroughly enjoyed @GLOWMaths and it has enabled me to gather thoughts on how to schedule the live lesson for Developing A Level pedagogy. It's also great seeing Mr Harper, fellow @NBHSMaths @NorthBromsgrove giving all of us plenty of food for thought on collaborative planning
