Met the love of my life. I’ve had a tough road to ride and finally feel like life is giving me a free pass back to contentment. I’ve been less active on social media as have been battling mental health issues for the last 6months but I’m stronger, braver, better. He helped this.

Heads. Do you check in on your single parent staff? It’s relentless. Washing, ironing, cooking, packed lunch, drop off and pick up often lengthy commute plus costly breakfast/after school club. Sports or hobby clubs. Housework. Limited downtime to catch up on workload. So tired

@Just_Maths I’d take out Trigonometry from foundation. I mean, memorising cos 60 is not exactly life skills.

#maths What would you remove from the current Maths GCSE? Anything you’d add?

@Just_Maths I’d add calculus. It’s such a shame that most pupils stop studying mathematics before it gets to the best bit. It’s like an 11 year long novel, but somebody has torn out the finale.

@ICT_MrP If teachers go to a 4 day week then the employer of every family with kids will have to follow suit. Grow up!

I’ve said before that if teachers had a full day of PPA at home every week, retention would look very different. The conversation about a four-day week keeps popping up, and the Sky News article makes one thing clear: something has to change. Because you can’t keep losing

I’m really interested in knowing how many maths groups you have in a year compared to tutor groups. E.g. in a year with 4 tutor groups do you have 4 maths groups or 5? Does it depend on the year group? Please RT @mathsjem @mrbartonmaths @Just_Maths
