Interesting question between Ruby and @helynsar on this weeks @paddypower podcast. Is there a horse that was beaten at the DRF @LeopardstownRC that will go on to win at the Cheltenham festival? Interested to hear people's thoughts on this. I'll go for Absolute Notions A.Bartlett

Just been quoted £1.40/l for red diesel - more than double what we paid in December and far closer to the derv price - who is making money out of this? It’s certainly not me!

@aobrienfansite You may also not know, that the trainer named in the documentary Jeremy Maxwell, is the father of the former amateur jockey David who recently retired and sold of all his horses.

@PaulSte76000769 @moneillsf Both sides waste money on utter nonsense! This is not a time for point scoring. This war will rumble on and as usual, it will be working class families who suffer again. Commuting to work will be a waste of money for some if the fuel prices continue to surge

In 24 hours, the war in the Middle East has driven gas prices up 20% and pushed oil prices higher again. Families are paying the price for this illegal war. It is unfair and unsustainable for people who are already struggling with the cost of living crisis. Today, our Finance Minister John O’Dowd met and again urged the British government to put proper support in place for workers and families.

Do you find this helpful? Would find it more helpful if they rid the platform of them. Like walking down the steeet and passing a policeman who points at a fella across the road and says ‘careful with that lad he killed two people yesterday’. Fancy doing something about it then mate?

@AKBets What is the difference between these accounts and someone like PSA shilling his wares in a brash manner, of whom you have no problem endorsing. This thing gets cut out from the industry only when all those with a voice call it out for what it is, at all times.

Today, at the civil case against Gerry Adams, a recording of Brendan Hughes was played to the court. Hughes was, at a time, a senior member of the IRA's 'Belfast Brigade', a former prisoner and a hunger striker. He was highly respected within PIRA. For many years Hughes was also a close friend of Gerry Adams but they had a parting of the ways, due to the direction that IRA Sinn Fein were moving. Hughes passed away a number of years ago but he left behind an oral testimony for the 'Boston Tapes'. It also features in a book by the late Ed Moloney. One of the things that annoyed Hughes, was the way Adams publicly distanced himself from the IRA's violence. I think today, Brendan Hughes may be having the last laugh. Here's an excerpt from an RTE documentary that includes a clip of Hughes from the recordings he made. Keep watching to the end and observe what happened at his funeral. youtu.be/J2_NYpFV2Kc?si…

Something that might have gone under the radar is that the BHA handicapper left Jango Baie on 167 (They thought Gaelic Warrior ran to 176 while the RP had them at 174 and 182 respectively) That might be a nice enough mark for the Coral Gold Cup next season
