@DayTimeSZN @JoshPateCFB @crainandcone Agree feel good about the depth of the room. Just need someone to step up to solidify that number two role. Especially with how much Smith will be doubled.
English

The valid questions are being asked by @JoshPateCFB on @crainandcone.
Do we have a solidified WR2? Teams will need to game plan Jeremiah, no question, but who emerges as the clear cut WR2?
In my opinion our WR room is the deepest it’s been in recent memory. JJ and CHJ playing on the outside with Inniss, McCuin, and Kyle Parker in the slot.
And that isn’t even mentioning the dark horse freshman of Brock Boyd and Quay Guilford.
This room will demolish secondary’s across the country and will mirror 2018 Bama when it’s all said and done.

@HenryBushnell How about some due diligence to hear the whole story before reporting? This is embarrassing work @TheAthletic @TheAthleticSCCR

My new neighbors want me to cut down 5 HUGE, healthy trees on MY property so THEY can get solar. Am I the bad guy here?
We've lived on our 2.5 acres for over a decade. These massive trees along the back give us privacy from 4 homes. New neighbors move in, and suddenly a solar company contacts US, saying 5 huge trees need to come down for THEIR panels. Not just trim, but clear 100 feet of wooded area.
They offered gift cards, even to plant tiny saplings, but that doesn't fix our privacy.

My family is going to the beach without me this week because they expected me, a single childfree person, to pay the same amount as my siblings who have partners and children. So $4500 split 4 ways for 6 adults and 4 kids. When I told them I couldn't afford it I was told to get a hotel by myself. What's the point in being everyone's village if no one wants to be mine?

@john9williams Correct winning a crappy Big 12 is different than winning a Natty.

Texas Tech was never a national title contender. Don’t let people mislead you.

If Texas Tech wasn’t a national championship contender, nobody would care about Sorsby. That’s the truth.

How hard will the Ohio State push to win the guy they’ve treated like a “Jeremiah level” prospect for 2 years? Free

@JWoodm72076 @GamblinGauchos They clearly do or they would not release a 22 minute statement on the matter. They don’t need to rally the Tech fan base they already stand behind Sorsvy and Tech leadership.

@NM_CBUS @GamblinGauchos Nobody with any sense gives a rat's ass about public opinion in this matter

It’s a race to the bottom among sports media with this case. Texas Tech didn’t win in a court of law. Texas Tech wasn’t party to the injunction litigation.
How are they all this bad at their jobs?
ProFootballTalk@ProFootballTalk
Texas Tech has won in a court of law. It's losing badly in the court of public opinion -- and it's only making things worse with its P.R. strategy. nbcsports.com/nfl/profootbal…

@oh_report Errors absolutely killed Moeller and credit to St X for taking advantage.

The Saint Xavier Bombers (27-5) lived up to their name in the state semifinals, but for all of the marbles it was a slow and methodical approach to best their arch-rivals in Moeller (25-7).
Friday afternoon's 4-2 win secured the Bombers' 2nd state title in program history, their first since 2003. The scoring began early after a bobble in left field allowed Jack Ryan to score from second base on a ruled double by Jackson Sherrard.
From there, both pitchers found their groove. Moeller's Nathan McDowell and Xavier's Liam McGeady recorded 5 strikeouts each while keeping the offenses off of the scoreboard until the 4th inning. Cullen O'Brien stepped up in a pinch hit scenario and delivered a grounder up the middle that got away from the Crusaders' center fielder to score the second run of the game. Sam Sprengard went on to reward O'Brien's pinch runner with a sac fly later in the frame to make it 3-0 Bombers.
Moeller needed an answer, and it came in the 6th. With the bases loaded, Conner Cuozzo shot one through the 6-hole to plate the first Crusader of the afternoon. Matt Ponatoski followed up with a sac fly to center, bringing the score to 3-2 St. Xavier heading into the 7th.
The Bombers weren't phased, and they proved it quickly by adding on insurance thanks to another sac fly, this time from Braden Bricking to make it 4-2 as they closed the door on their arch nemesis to claim the glory.
