So I made this Let's name this project Aalsi 🤓 So what does it do? It's an automatic X posting system running on my secondary phone. Workflow: • Scrape images from my Pinterest feed • Transfer them to the phone • Every 2 hours the phone wakes up automatically • Uploads the next image to Gemini • Generates a caption for the image • Copies the caption and creates a post on X • Uploads the image and posts it • Deletes the used image • Turns the screen off and waits for the next cycle I also tried using Termux to control app launching and automation, but I couldn't get it working reliably and ended up wasting a lot of time. Eventually I switched to another approach. The automation works, but the caption generator I'm currently using is pretty bad and needs improvement 😭 Still, I'm happy that the entire posting pipeline is working automatically.
