@bagrielx @sekirodubi I love Miquella and don't think he's evil at all, he tried his best and lost his way. But he did commit evils in his path to godhood. I just wish they hadn't committed to the charm route... someone who cares enough to create a town plaza for reviled ppl, I wanted them to commit

@sekirodubi Everything I've seen of cut content makes it seem like Miquella would have been a very important (positive) character in the story rather than the weird one we got with the dlc.

@Drayzher This clip alone just reinforces that Bayoluka was ultimately 1 sided. Bayonetta always moved on, very clearly characterised by immediately switching to 'let's dance boys!' Their lives were too different to work so they had to rewrite both characters. She was going to live-

And remember, whenever you see someone complaining about Bayonetta x Luka, they're just tourists who only played Bayonetta 2. You can't tell me that Luka's appearance at the end of Bayonetta 3 doesn't make sense, when Bayonetta 1 literally ended that way🙄🙄

@CodePlayz2020 @yamil_GL21 B1 and B2 had their screen time; in fact, all three later merge, allowing Bayonetta to regain some strength before the end. Why can't she finish off Luka, the character who always accompanies and admires Bayonetta?

@GenerallyAMelon Can only speak for myself, but the Radahn reveal was a very uninteresting direction to take Miquella's char so the final cutscene was salt on the wound. At least this scene shows us a pivotal moment in Miq's life & would've been a bittersweet to end showing his hopeful beginning

I find it interesting that I've already seen several people, in response to this scrapped cutscene, bring up how much they dislike Shadow of the Erdtree's ending cutscene telling us things we already know. I guess my confusion is that this cutscene does the exact same thing.

@sekirodubi It really badly pisses me off knowing we could’ve gotten these scenes but instead got a fan service boss and a cutscene of miquella sitting by a chair and telling us what we already know

@light0fmiquella @manfightdragon I wish they had just rewrote the lines but kept the cutscene. Would've been a bittersweet ending, briefly flashing back to Miquella's og goal of saving Malenia and the hopeful beginning of his journey, then watching him fade away. The promise scene is so inferior to this 😔

@manfightdragon Ngl looking at the chair and Miquella's position, it resembles Miquella's cutscene after the boss fight. They probably redesigned it because it wasn't connected to the old lore anymore.
