But you still draft mckenna and use your other pieces to find a way to get that #1 D YOu can get solid top 4 D men in free agency. Rasmus Andersson and Darren Raddysh for example i view them as very good 2nd pair Dmen if you somehow got 1 of those .. as getting a #1 in FA and trade is very hard doesn't happen often.. But if you had 2 top pairs that were basically very good 3/4's on any team then you have a chance. Raddysh Carlo Mccabe Tanev OEL Danford (play the kid) if that D stays healthy and trades rielly they're looking much better already. Leafs roster changed but the core is still in place that took florida with barkov 7 games. It's not a stretch to retool like so many think it is. the wheels feel off hard this year but that doesn't mean this roster is cooked and can't get back to very competitive with a couple key moves.
