A vile and coordinated smear campaign is being run against journalist @GFarooqi, and it deserves to be called out. At times, I may not agree with her journalism, but that is irrelevant, she has every right to dress as she chooses. Circulating images of an alleged wardrobe malfunction and amplifying them on social media is not criticism, it is harassment. Comparing her clothing to another journalist’s “more traditional” attire is equally flawed and meaningless. Why are women still being reduced to their appearance instead of being judged for their work? This mindset is unacceptable. Enough is enough. Stop the objectification.

We should avoid any rush to judgement about the Islamabad talks which have barely got going. Diplomacy is a process, not an event. Anyone who thinks the process will yield something quickly is mistaken. No need to see it in terms of either breakthrough or breakdown.
