My Nintendo fan side wants the Switch to surpass the PS2 but my PlayStation fan side doesn’t want the PS2 to be dethroned lol. In the end, as long as Nintendo and Sony keeps giving us great games, that all I really care about

The Switch 1 was $300, the games were $60, GKC didn't exist, file sizes were smaller, I didn't realize Nintendo would change the drive type leading me to have to by expensive micro sd cards all over again when I had a 1TB for my Switch 1 already, gold points still existed, amiibo were $12-$15, accessories were cheaper, their customer service reps weren't complete idiots. I didn't change. Nintendo changed.

Remember when Nintendorks said PlayStation only sold 600 million games all generation. 💀 Yeah, about that. Games sold on PlayStation since April 1st 2024 = 621.2 million. Games sold on Nintendo since March 3rd 2017 = 1,576.85 million. 2 years vs an entire generation.

Okay fine I'll add context: Nintendo has now increased the price of 4 consoles! Switch, Lite, OLED and 2. More than any other major console developer in modern gaming.

Pretty sure I remember a big backlash about the game at launch and it is bad. I'd rather play SMK or even Super Circuit over that dribble. I can't even remember the last time I was so disappointed by a Nintendo game that I got rid of it immediately. That's a lie. Two N64 games in the 90's come to mind. 🤔
